Wrexham kick-off their return to League One with a home clash against Wycombe Wanderers on August 10th.
For Phil Parkinson and his squad, preparations are well underway to challenge for promotion from the third tier.
Whilst eight players were released at the end of their contracts last season, the Reds have already brought five through the door, including Arthur Okonkwo, Lewis Brunt, George Dobson, Sebastian Revan and Callum Burton.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds are far from done with their business, too, and that is an exciting prospect for supporters, who will be dreaming of a third promotion in a row.
To get fans even more excited for their return to the third tier, the 2024/25 home kit was released on Tuesday, and McElhenney has shared his reaction.

The release of a club’s new kit can often divide opinion among supporters but most appeared happy with what was served up.
Crafted from Macron’s Eco fabric, the shirt boasts embossed dragon scales and features a full white collar, offering a throwback to older Wrexham shirts as the Club’s foundation approaches its 160th anniversary.
It’s a smart and slick shirt, befitting of their first campaign at League One level in 19 years, with the supporters now excited to see it on the Wrex Coast tour of the United States and Canada.
Wrexham co-owner McElhenney shared a similar view to the supporters by simply reacting with three fire emojis.
Wrexham will be eyeing history in the new home kit
Wrexham supporters have become so used to seeing the club follow an upward trajectory and they’ll be eager for that to continue in League One.
Whilst many – including executive director Humphrey Ker – would settle for a mid-table finish, others are dreaming of more than just consolidation by achieving a third consecutive promotion.
No other club in the top five divisions of English football has earned three promotions on the bounce but next season, Parkinson’s men have a real opportunity to create history.
The Welsh side have set the standard in recent years. In the National League, they broke the record for the most number of points in a single campaign (111), as Notts County finished second on 107.
They continued that momentum in the fourth tier by finishing second and earning an instant passage into the third tier, while now, they’re looking at the Championship as a real possibility, with Reynolds claiming he’ll do whatever it takes this summer to get them there.
The Hollywood owners have certainly made a strong start to achieving that dream with five new signings, it’s just whether they can maintain unprecedented levels of progress on the pitch.
