The Parramatta Eels are excited to announce the signing of talented utility Joash Papalii and dynamic outside back Jordan Samrani for the next two seasons. Additionally, the club has extended backrower Matt Doorey’s contract for another year, securing his services through the 2026 season.
General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill expressed enthusiasm about the new signings, particularly highlighting Joash Papalii’s potential impact on the team.
“We are thrilled to welcome both Joash and Jordan to the Parramatta Eels family,” O’Neill said.
“Joash is an incredibly exciting young talent who possesses great speed and agility. He has previously represented Australian Schoolboys and NSW Under 19s and will add great depth to our NRL playing squad.”
Jordan Samrani is also set to make a significant contribution to the Eels’ ambitions over the next two seasons.
“Jordan is a big man, predominantly an outside back who can also add versatility to our squad.” O’Neill added. “He has already shown great promise and we’re excited to see how he further develops within our program.”
In addition to the new signings, the club is pleased to announce the extension of backrower Matt Doorey. O’Neill emphasised the belief in Doorey’s potential for growth.
“Matt has shown great resilience in overcoming injury, and we’re confident that his best football is still ahead of him,” O’Neill said.
