Voting for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games has officially opened this week. But do the 3-7 Carolina Panthers have any players who are worthy of a spot on your early ballots?
You bet they do!
Here, through 12 weeks of the 2024 campaign, are six Panthers who should get consideration for this season’s all-star festivities:
Hubbard is hitting on all cylinders in this, his fourth NFL campaign. He’s currently the league’s fifth-leading rusher at 876 yards, he’s secured a lucrative long-term extension and he’s earned one heck of a nickname from the legendary Chris Berman.
So, let’s help the Chuba Missile Crisis wrap up a career year with a well-deserved Pro Bowl nod.
The 2022 sixth overall pick has bounced back in a big way following a very disappointing sophomore season.
Pro Football Focus has graded Ekwonu out at an 82.3 in the run-blocking department, the second-highest amongst all left tackles with at least 500 offensive snaps. He’s also allowed just three sacks over 344 pass-blocking opportunities.
If you look to Ekwonu’s far right, you have Moton—who is still putting in work in his eighth NFL season.
The sturdy 30-year-old has been charged with a grand total of zero sacks on the campaign. His 81.3 pass-blocking grade, which currently stands as the third-highest of his career, ranks fourth amongst right tackles with at least 500 offensive snaps.
This isn’t the best time to make a case for Horn, who is coming off his worst game as a pro. But one unfortunate outing should not spoil the rest of a stellar season.
He entered Week 12 having allowed just three receptions and a 39.6 passer rating in man coverage. Horn has also recorded the most run stops (14) by a cornerback thus far.
Steady Eddy has been living up to his moniker.
Piñeiro has successfully converted on 16 of his 17 field goal attempts and each of his 18 extra point tries. Plus, he officially became the most accurate field goal kicker in NFL history back in Week 11.
