Enzo Maresca was quite coy on whether he’ll give the start tonight to one Cole Palmer, who’s been added back to our European squad after being spared the burden of having to play against the minnows in the league phase of this competition. Palmer did make an appearance against Servette in the qualifying round, but he didn’t start either of those two games.
For the WAGNH Community there is no question however: Palmer must start … as must pretty much all the rest of our (available) first-choice players.
While many are still unavailable due to injury, those who are fit, should be playing. After all, this is our one and only remaining trophy chance for this season, so no messing about!
4-2-3-1 (69%)
Jörgensen (61%) | Cucurella (85%), Colwill (78%), Tosin (90%), James (53%) | Enzo (70%), Caicedo (67%) | Nkunku (86%), Palmer (66%), Sancho (69%) | Neto (75%)
Tyrique George got almost 60% as well, but there was no way to fit him in ahead of Reece James, who just barely edged out Malo Gusto at right back. Josh Acheampong (41%) and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (46%) also achieved solid numbers in the voting.
