Mark Pope and his Kentucky Wildcats staff are hard at work on the recruiting trail as the end of the AAU season is here. With plenty of talent in North Augusta for the EYBL Peach Jam this past week, the UK staff is starting to focus on several prospects at the top of their big board for the Class of 2025.
One of those players is 4-star guard Acaden Lewis.
The fast-rising combo guard out of Washington, D.C., has had a busy summer and spring, picking up offers and taking several unofficial visits, including one to Lexington in June.
Now, according to a recent conversation with Jacob Polacheck of KSR, Lewis has locked in official visits with all eight of his finalists. Those include UK alongside Duke, North Carolina, Tennessee, UConn, Auburn, Michigan, and Syracuse.
Despite the coaching change in Lexington, the Cats seem to be in a great spot heading into the final few months of this recruitment. With plenty of teams entering the mix as of late, it seems that these visits are going to play a huge role in deciding where he will play his college basketball.
After mentioning to Polacheck that he plans to commit in November during the early signing period, the home stretch is quickly approaching. It would be a big recruiting win to start off the high school class for Pope.
