Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese recently took to social media, revealing a major step in one of the many partnerships she signed during the 2024 WNBA season.
Reese posted a photo of a Reese’s Puffs box that had “Angel” in pink labeled on the box and a picture of the WNBA star holding a basketball on the cover of the box.
Following the release of the photo, Reese commented on the accomplishment, referring to her face on her favorite cereal as “a dream.”
“My face on my favorite cereal box,” Reese posted with the heart-eyes emoji. “A dream!”
Reese partnered with General Mills for the limited edition of the cereal box on Sep. 17. General Mills mentioned that the “Angel Reese’s Puffs” release is intended to celebrate Reese’s basketball talents and career accomplishments.
“Reese’s Puffs cereal is proud to celebrate Angel’s talents in both basketball and fashion as an ode to the brand’s classic dualities like chocolate and peanut butter, and milk and cereal,” per an official release.
During her rookie season with the Sky, Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds. She led the WNBA in average rebounds and was the only rookie to average a double-double.
Reese served as the Sky’s most consistent starter on both ends of the floor. She started in all 34 games while she was active. With a few games left in the regular season, Reese suffered a season-ending wrist injury that required surgery, cutting her rookie season short.
