Amare Adams continues to rack up the accolades.
The 5-star DL, and Clemson signee, has been named a finalist for the All-American Bowl’s National Player of the Year.
As a senior, Adams helped guide South Florence to its second 4A state title in the past three years. He tallied 75 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, six sacks, two passes deflected and a forced fumble.
Other finalists for the award include LB Will Hawthorne, RB Alvin Henderson, LB Noah Mikhail, QB Kamario Taylor and QB Antwan Hill Jr.
The annual East vs. West matchup will be played on Saturday, January 11, in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC at 1:00 PM ET, and will feature the nation’s top 100 high school football players.
