Adeyemi’s top speed of 22.77 mph was the third fastest ever recorded in the German top-flight since records began in 2011, the Bundesliga website posted in November.

Italian side Napoli are hoping to snap up Adeyemi in the current January transfer window – before Chelsea can land him at the end of the season -but a winter departure is thought to be ‘unlikely’ at this moment in time.
Dortmund want a sizeable fee in order to let Adeyemi depart the Westfalenstadion, meaning only a few clubs are able to afford him.
Adeyemi, who can operate as a winger or forward, has also attracted transfer interest from fellow Premier League club Liverpool.
The Germany international has conjured up three assists and two goals across eight Bundesliga games for Dortmund so far this season.
He has particularly impressed in the Champions League, scoring three times and providing an assist in just two games.
Adeyemi reportedly rebuffed the Blues last summer and was said to be ‘reluctant’ to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
He has been a Dortmund player since 2022, joining the German club from Red Bull Salzburg.
Adeyemi previously spent time in Bayern Munich’s academy as a youngster but departed them without making a senior appearance.
He has played a total of 77 games for Dortmund to date, registering 19 goals and 13 assists.
Adeyemi was crowned Bundesliga Rookie of the Season in the 2022-23 campaign.
