Pitso Mosimane talks Kaizer Chiefs amidst Nabi exit rumours
Pitso Mosimane talks Kaizer Chiefs and Nasreddine Nabi following his return and speculation over his future.
Pitso Mosimane is back in town.
Therefore, so are the rumours. Given his reputation, ‘Jingles’ is bound to have several clubs on notice awaiting his next move. Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi faces a possible exit.
MOSIMANE TALKS CHIEFS
Mosimane feels that Nabi is trying but he is not convincing.
“Kaizer Chiefs, ok, Nabi is trying to do something, he’s getting there. He’s not really convincing, I guess he’s trying his best,” Mosimane stated on Goal.
Interestingly, this aligns with the views of fans and the board.
Furthermore, as discussed, Nabi faces an uncertain future with Chiefs at Naturena. This is because the Amakhosi hierarchy are split over their views on his future. Half of them want to give him more time to build the squad he wants. Whereas, the other half are growing inpatient and are discontent.
NABI PRESSURE MOUNTS
Mosimane is now a free agent following his departure from Estaghlal SC.
Nabi is under pressure to produce results with Chiefs. Now, with Mosimane available he will be under even more pressure given ‘Jingles’ previous links to the club.
So, Nabi will have to finish the season strongly. There were split views over his future before the Soweto derby loss to Orlando Pirates.
Therefore, he is under more pressure than ever before to produce results. A derby loss, the return of Mosimane and the end of yet another transfer window leaves little to no room for poor results. The heat is on Nabi and Chiefs.
SHOULD NABI BE GIVEN MORE TIME OR SHOULD CHIEFS SACK HIM? IS PITSO MOSIMANE THE RIGHT MAN TO SAVE AMAKHOSI?
