Arsenal 22-year-old striker Eddie Nketiah scored two goals against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and Granit Xhaka scored the last goal against Manchester United during a 3-1 defeat. Arsenal is currently left with five games to confirm their way into the champions league next season.

Gunners beginning of the season was very bad and up till now the club has not been able to balance to a perfect state and Gary Neville looks at their ‘boring’ style of football in December 2020. When Manchester City defeated Arsenal 5-0, Gunner’s manager faced a lot of abuse as it marked the club’s worst season in 67 years.

Gary Neville podcasts the following words:

“The Mikel Arteta team looks more rigid, more solid but it’s a bit boring and they’ve got to get that out. You can’t bore. I used to say that here [at Manchester United]. You can win, you can lose, you can’t be bored coming to Old Trafford.”

“I think most fans are the same, they can watch the team win, they can watch the team draw and they can watch the team lose but they won’t accept being bored. And to me, the Arsenal players at this moment in time look a little bored and the football they are producing looks like a real struggle.”

Arteta believes in the academy youth so much that Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, and Martin Odegaard were introduced to the club with full force. If Arsenal is successful in qualifying for the Champions League next season, it will be the club’s first since 2016.

Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette could leave the club if they are not offered a new contract.
