Meanwhile, he joins this exciting talent who is also in line to be signed by the Bucs.
PIRATES MANAGEMENT IMPRESSED WITH BOTH NEW STARS
Pirates DDC stars, Neo Mokeona and Mbekezeli Mbokazi are both training with the Bucs first team.
“He is a winger. A very good winger. I think they are doing it for this season. They are looking beyond this season already . You know this is how they did with Mohau Nkota. They promoted him and he had been training with the first team until this season. Now, it’s Neo (Mokoena) as well as defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi who is training with the first team,”
Furthermore, both men have impressed Bucs management.
Both have been impressive and its apparently believed that the coach and technical team are happy with the progress,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.
Meaning, Mokoena and Mbokazi are in line to earn first team contracts. So, the next couple of weeks will determine if they are signed – and unveiled by Pirates or not.
BUCS LINE UP TRANSFER TARGETS
Pirates have identified several transfer targets for the next transfer window.
As mentioned, both DDC stars are training with the Bucs. Moreover, both men could become new Bucs players. Meanwhile, Pirates are targeting the signature of Kaizer Chiefs’ Bafana Bafana target.
Furthermore, the Bucs want to sign this striker from their PSL rivals. Despite boasting tremendous depth up front, Pirates are still monitoring this attacker. Therefore, Bucs management want to build even deeper squad depth.

Former Orlando Pirates star NOT HAPPY with Jose Riveiro!
An ex-Orlando Pirates enforcer hasn’t held back on what he thinks of Jose Riveiro’s coaching style.
Former Orlando Pirates defender Daniel Tshabalala has voiced his displeasure with Jose Riveiro’s coaching style.
“It’s all about the preparations. If you are a smart coach, your tactics must be spot-on,” Tshabalala told KickOff.com.
“There must be a lot of analysis taking place because you can’t play the same way every day. At the moment, I see simple things being made difficult. I don’t know whether that’s a new trend in coaching or what,” he added.
“For example, we should not have lost the game we played against Sundowns. We were not supposed to lose. You need skillfull players against Sundowns,
“The Pirates coach is a good coach, but from my perspective, it seems he has reached his limits. That’s my opinion. Winning the league is not easy, and I believe Riveiro’s plans are too limited,
“Sometimes a coach’s plans cannot be executed effectively depending on the players at his disposal. To me, Pirates should be a possession-based club,
“However, I don’t think Pirates will win the league based on what I see. It’s going to be a steep mountain for them to climb to achieve that,
“Matched are becoming unpredictable, there are no guarantees anymore,” he continued.
“A strong team is no longer assured of success like it used to be. A draw tonight would feel like a loss because when you’re aiming to win the league, every point counts, especially when you’re playing against a strong team,
“We can only secure a win if we dig deeper with the right attitude. A draw us simply not acceptable today.”
A campaign to remember?
Orlando Pirates began the season in scintillating fashion, lifting the MTN8 Cup, while winning their opening seven league games, a feat they’ve never achieved.
Their recent 4-1 loss to Sundowns threatened to derail their chances of PSL glory; but after the latter’s loss to TS Galaxy last week, the Buccaneers still have a chance, yet Tshabalala remains unconvinced.
