The Phoenix Suns end the calendar year with a New Year’s Eve matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies at Footprint Center before beginning a three-game road trip on Jan. 4 at Indiana.
This will be the first of four matchups against the Grizzlies, with the next three coming between Feb. 11 and March 10. Memphis is having a bounce-back season fueled by Ja Morant.
The Suns will have three days between the Memphis game and an Indiana rematch. The Pacers knocked off the Suns in Phoenix, 120-111, that started a three-game skid.
Indiana scored 29 points off 16 Phoenix turnovers and had seven players reach double figures.
The Suns play Philadelphia on Jan. 6 in the first of a road back-to-back. The 76ers have been without their All-Star big, Joel Embiid, for a large portion of the season, but put together a signature win over the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics on Christmas Day in Boston.

Phoenix concludes the three-game road trip on Jan. 7 at Charlotte. The Hornets continue to rebuild, but they have LaMelo Ball back from injury.
The 23-year-old point guard is having a career year in his fifth NBA season.
Phoenix will return home for a three-game homestand starting Jan. 9 against Atlanta. The Suns have yet to play the 76ers, Hornets or Hawks this season.
